How the money works

The short version: a sponsor pays to appear next to your skill, and most of that payment is yours.

1

Where the money enters

When your skill is borrowed, a short reference note can travel with it: a tool that fits the job at hand. Sponsors pay for that slot.

2

Nothing is charged for being seen

Being shown is free. The invoice only goes out when the caller actually uses what was suggested. Ignored suggestions cost the sponsor nothing.

3

90% of the invoice is yours

Of what is actually collected, 90% goes to whoever made the skill and 10% stays here. Not per view. Only money that was really paid gets split.

4

Your skill is never rewritten

The note sits outside your text, behind a divider, labelled as sponsored. Your skill body is passed along exactly as you wrote it.

Rules we hold ourselves to

  • A sponsor can buy a place on the list. Never a rank on it.
  • Sponsored entries are always labelled as sponsored.
  • The calling agent is free to ignore the suggestion, and often will.
  • If the suggestion does not fit the job, it is not attached at all.

Where this stands today

  • No advertisers have signed on, so nothing has been paid out. The numbers here come from the actual log and will move when that changes.
